I started my interest in sport and fitness from a young age and represented Cheshire Rugby Union, going on to play for England Rugby League in the Student World Cup in Australia while studying for my Sport & Exercise Science Degree in 2005. This all naturally led to an interest in resistance training to improve my performance on the pitch. Ever since then I have been involved in the Health and Fitness industry and attended multiple courses to further my education such as a two day acupressure muscle activation course with Doug Hill and a two day back strengthening course with Stu McGill, as well as a specialist bodyfat reduction course called The Biosignature Modulation in Toronto, Canada, with Charles Poliquin.
After years of working with all types of clients, I have managed to help them achieve their goals, ranging from a 15 year old at Liverpool FC Academy, and getting the youngest (19) player into the senior England Lacrosse World Cup starting team, to, a 65 year old couple getting into clothes they used to wear in their 20’s…and feeling younger too!
I have completed a Masters degree in Human Nutrition which qualifies me for registration with the Association for Nutrition and a place on the UK Voluntary Register of Nutritionists. Nutrition is an integral part of all of my clients journeys to their healthiest self, whether that be through nutrition help alone or in conjunction with one to one personal training.
My clients are typically ready for change, and have a real desire to succeed in changing their body’s and lives.
